About this Vacancy We are seeking a highly capable Market & Acquisition Analyst to identify, evaluate, and support the acquisition of early-stage or high-growth companies that complement our engineering-software portfolio. Embedded within our business development team, you will combine market intelligence, technology analysis, and commercial assessment to highlight strategic opportunities and guide investment decisions. Responsibilities: Technology and market scanning: Track emerging technologies, start-ups, and innovation trends across engineering software—modelling, simulation, optimisation, digital twins, geospatial solutions, data analytics, and automation. Acquisition opportunity evaluation : Assess potential acquisition or partnership targets, analysing product fit, market positioning, technical maturity, competitive differentiators, and long-term strategic value. Technical insight generation : Work with engineering and product teams to evaluate software architectures, integration potential, workflow alignment, and overall compatibility with PE Limited’s technology stack. Strategic recommendation development : Prepare detailed opportunity assessments, risk analyses, and investment briefs for leadership decision-making. Stakeholder engagement : Support outreach to start-ups, founders, and innovation networks, participating in discovery calls, due-diligence reviews, and technology demonstrations. Why Join Us? Experience Experience in market analysis, technology research, venture scouting, or strategic planning—preferably within software, engineering, or related sectors. Ability to assess technical architectures, product-market fit, competitive landscapes, and commercial potential. Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with experience preparing briefs for senior stakeholders. Familiarity with early-stage innovation ecosystems, investment frameworks, or M&A processes is advantageous. Comfortable engaging with founders, technical teams, and cross-disciplinary internal groups.
