Your role as Corporate Tax Director
You will take ownership of the Corporate Tax compliance function, ensuring high standards, smooth delivery and a consistently strong client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing complex corporate tax computations and returns
Leading advisory projects including corporate restructures, tax clearances, share schemes, transfer pricing, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, due diligence and R&D
Managing and developing junior team members
Overseeing your own client portfolio and building long-term relationships
Liaising with HMRC and external advisers
Contributing to departmental strategy and growth initiatives
Using commercial awareness to manage work efficiently and drive profitability
This role is both operational and strategic, ideal for someone who wants to shape a function rather than simply maintain it.
What we're looking for
CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
Practice-trained with recent experience at Senior Manager level or above
At least five years' post-qualification managerial experience
Strong advisory-focused Corporate Tax background
Experience managing a client portfolio
Proven leadership and team development capability
Commercially aware, confident communicator and relationship builder
