Technical Director - Fire Engineering

Technical Director - Fire Engineering Senior role focused on leading fire engineering on multiple projects across the UK and internationally. Responsibilities Lead fire engineering design across diverse projects, from university buildings in Scotland to high‑rise residential towers in London. Conduct design reviews and liaise with WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures. Present fire safety designs to local authorities and the Fire Service. Advise design team on safety improvements and regulatory compliance. Participate in client updates, team briefings and project meetings. Support professional registration through IFE and other professional organisations. Qualifications BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and presentation skills.
