Title: Financial Controller – Business ITLocation: LondonAre you a detail-driven Financial Controller ready to lead a multi-branch division through its next phase of growth and integration? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, acquisitive tech business as it continues to scale and streamline its Business IT Centre of Excellence.Following a series of acquisitions, the business is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial operations across the Business IT arm - partnering closely with regional leaders, producing high-quality reporting, and strengthening controls across a diverse and evolving finance environment.Key Responsibilities:Own the production of timely, accurate management accounts for the Business IT divisionLead and present month-end close reviews, identifying key performance issues and trendsBusiness partner with senior stakeholders to enable actionable insights and informed decisionsDrive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with the Group Finance DirectorLead a team of transactional and management accountants across multiple UK sitesMaintain a strong control environment, including cashflow oversight and balance sheet integritySupport ERP and finance system standardisation projects across the Business IT networkOversee VAT and corporate tax compliance for the division and assist with audit requirementsAbout You:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong double-entry expertiseProven leadership experience within a multi-site or acquisitive organisationExceptional communication and business partnering skills — capable of translating finance to non-financeHands-on, detail-focused and solutions-driven — comfortable rolling up sleeves to get resultsStrong grip on controls, processes, and cashflow managementExperience with NetSuite is a bonus, but not essentialSkilled in Excel and PowerPoint; able to produce clear, concise reportingThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment where no two days are the same.
