Role Summary The Head of Investor Relations โ€“ Nordics (based in London) supports the firmโ€™s Marketing and Investor Relations Team in managing key relationships with limited partners, attracting new investors, and leading the marketing and fundraising strategy across the Nordic region. The role oversees a regional coverage and engagement strategy across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, ensuring institutional investor market awareness and interaction through direct representation and market forums and industry conferences. As a Vice President/Principal, the role is accountable for marketing and capital raising activities and a driving force for ideas and strategic input at the executive level. Key Responsibilities Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, investment consultants, family offices and other stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and feedback. Respond to inquiries and manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts and the media. Ensure all external communications adhere to relevant securities laws and regulations. Fundraising Develop and execute comprehensive IR strategies to attract new investors, maintain existing investor confidence, and ensure consistent, compelling messaging aligned with corporate goals. Coordinate and prepare materials for quarterly earnings calls and annual reports, including press releases, presentations, Q&A's, and briefings for senior management. Identify potential capital sources and lead fundraising initiatives by preparing compelling investment materials such as pitch decks and offering memorandums. Coordinate investor events, conferences, roadshows and other engagement activities, and create client reports and marketing materials. Ensure all investor communications and activities comply with internal reporting standards and regulatory protocols. Market Intelligence Analyze financial results, industry trends and peer benchmarking data to provide insights to senior management. Plan and execute investor events, such as conferences, roadshows, webcasts and annual shareholder meetings. Qualifications & Experience MBA or an advanced degree from a worldโ€‘leading university. Professional certification (CFA, CAIA, or other) preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial industry with a large global investment firm, placement agent, or private market function in a large investment bank. Proven track record of capital raising with institutional investors, with strong preference for experience in private equity fundraising. Strong command of industry best practices and legal and regulatory compliance standards. Deep knowledge of relevant national laws and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills. Experience engaging with senior executives and strong ability to project professionalism and credibility. Impeccable ethics and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fastโ€‘paced environment. Language skills or international professional experience are strong attributes.
