This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing, independently owned accountancy practices outside of London, offering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The firm continues to expand its client base and is now seeking a Tax Director to support the acquisition and ongoing management of a significant block of UK compliance work, alongside existing and future projects across the wider client portfolio.
The role will play a key part in overseeing tax compliance for a high-value client base, with scope to integrate newly acquired work and contribute to the continued development of the tax offering. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys technical responsibility, client interaction and being closely involved in the growth of a practice.
Role Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a portfolio of tax compliance clients, including high-net-worth individuals
Take responsibility for a newly acquired block of fees, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing client service
Provide technical oversight and review of UK personal tax compliance work
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and trusted relationships
Support ad-hoc tax projects arising from existing clients across the wider firm
Work closely with other senior stakeholders to support the firm's continued growth and development
Personal Requirements
CTA, ATT or equivalent qualification
Strong background in UK personal tax compliance
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
Confident managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
Comfortable working in a growing, dynamic practice environment
Willing to attend the office in Leigh-on-Sea or Chelmsford at least two days per week
