OverviewClient Director of International Talent Consultancy - Product | Tech | InvestorAbout the RoleMy Client is looking for a visionary and hands-on Tech Lead to join our fast-growing Web3 platform focused on creator monetization. In this high-impact, strategic role, you’ll take ownership of system design and technical architecture, working closely with the CTO and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric Web3 applications.You will lead the selection and implementation of the right technologies for the business – from core infrastructure to application layer – with a strong focus on Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain integrations, smart contract development, and tokenomics.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end system architecture and technical design of our Web3 platform.Evaluate and select appropriate Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain technologies based on product and business requirements.Design and oversee the development of smart contracts, ensuring security, auditability, and scalability.Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to translate user journeys into robust backend and frontend architecture.Guide technical implementation and mentor engineering teams where required.Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance in a distributed environment.Work closely with the CTO on technology strategy, roadmap planning, and scaling engineering efforts.Provide technical leadership during token generation events (TGEs) and contribute to the design and implementation of tokenomics models.RequirementsProven experience as a Tech Lead, Solutions Architect, or Senior Engineer in a Web3 or blockchain environment.Strong hands-on experience in smart contract development (e.g. Solidity, Vyper), with a portfolio of deployed contracts.Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, particularly Layer 1 & Layer 2 protocols.Demonstrated experience in building and launching commercial-facing Web3 products to market.Solid understanding of tokenomics and direct involvement in at least one successful TGE or token launch.Strong grasp of system scalability, distributed infrastructure, and blockchain security best practices.Familiarity with modern cloud architecture (e.g. AWS/GCP) and containerized environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.Nice to HaveExperience with DAO governance frameworks or staking mechanisms.Familiarity with zk-rollups, optimistic rollups, or other scaling solutions.Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or protocols.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Product Management, and DesignIndustries: Internet Marketplace Platforms and Social Networking PlatformsLocation: London, England, United Kingdom #J-18808-Ljbffr
