About this Role
We are recruiting for a Head of Sales to lead and shape the commercial direction of Dawsongroup Energy Solutions (DGES), based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Sales will take ownership of the sales strategy, pipeline development and team performance to position DGES as a market leader in hire and energy solutions.
Lead, manage and develop the Sales team, setting clear targets and reviewing performance against agreed objectives
Drive all DGES “WIN” processes including bids, tenders, proposals, awards and handovers
Build and maintain a strong customer base and opportunity pipeline across internal and external stakeholders
Negotiate commercial agreements and present sales and development opportunities to the Managing Director
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and relevant legislation to ensure our solutions remain innovative and compliant
About You
You are a proven sales leader with experience in sales management within the renewable energy, construction or plant industry. You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, and you are confident leading negotiations, developing high‑performing teams and shaping commercial growth in a developing energy business.
Demonstrable experience managing and developing a sales team within renewable energy, construction or plant sectors
Strong track record of delivering sales and development targets in a solutions‑led environment
Experience leading complex bid and tender processes from initial engagement to award
Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate high‑value agreements with key stakeholders
Up to date knowledge of industry legislation, standards and evolving market trends
