The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the group’s financial control function, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and streamlined processes across a complex structure. This is a high-impact position requiring exceptional technical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Leading the financial control function and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Overseeing group consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS. Driving improvements in financial processes, controls, and systems to support scalability. Managing the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities. Partnering with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to provide insight and support strategic decision-making. Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Overseeing external audits and managing relationships with auditors and key advisors. The ideal Candidate A Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong technical foundation. Proven experience in a senior financial control role within a PE-backed organisation, demonstrating success in complex structures. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working closely with private equity investors. The ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments, adopting a hands‑on approach when required.
