As THE OUTNET continues its journey, we are now seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to play a pivotal role in building and leading the company’s financial foundations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives in changing environments and enjoys shaping finance functions from the ground up. You will lead core accounting operations, support ERP implementation, establish robust financial controls, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence, as you help build best-in-class finance team. Key Responsibilities Own and lead the end-to-end accounting function, including general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close Design and implement the chart of accounts aligned to business and statutory requirements Lead statutory accounts preparation, audit processes, and regulatory compliance Manage tax compliance requirements, working with external advisors where appropriate Implement internal controls to prevent errors and fraud Transformation & ERP Implementation Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring finance requirements are clearly defined and delivered Establish scalable finance processes that support future growth Cash Flow & Reporting Produce and maintain short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decision-making Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, setting clear expectations and standards Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support operational and strategic objectives The Type of Person We Are Looking For 6+ years in a financial controller or senior accounting role, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or complex operational environments Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Proven experience implementing or working through ERP system implementations #J-18808-Ljbffr
