Clinical Home Manager – Nursing & Residential Care Halstead, Essex £75,000 + Quarterly Bonus The Opportunity Compass Associates are supporting the appointment of a Clinical Home Manager for a nursing and residential care home in Halstead, Essex. The home has recently completed a significant refurbishment, with major investment made into the environment, facilities, and clinical infrastructure. This marks an important reset for the service and provides a strong platform for its next chapter. Like many services, the home has experienced some management changes over recent years and is now looking for a confident, clinically strong leader to bring stability, consistency, and clear direction. This role is about embedding good practice, supporting the team, and rebuilding momentum, rather than firefighting or crisis management. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Clinical Home Manager who enjoys being visible on the floor, setting standards, and leading by example. The Role As Clinical Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical standards, governance, and day-to-day leadership of the home, working closely with senior colleagues and regional support. Your responsibilities will include: Providing strong clinical leadership across nursing and residential care Embedding robust clinical governance and best practice Supporting, developing, and stabilising the nursing and care teams Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards Leading by example and maintaining a visible presence within the home Working with the wider organisation to drive consistency and improvement This role requires someone who is confident taking ownership and setting expectations, while also supporting teams through a period of positive change. About You You will be an experienced Clinical Home Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up, with a strong nursing background and a calm, authoritative leadership style.
