Key Responsibilities As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for: - Accurate coding, processing, and review of purchase ledger invoices and purchase orders (POs) - Processing employee expense claims and ensuring compliance with group expense policies - Inputting expense claims into accounting ledgers - Reconciling key purchase ledger control accounts - Preparing payment runs for review, approval, and processing - Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong vendor relationships Candidate RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with: - Experience in accounts payable, purchase ledger, or finance administration - Strong organisational and time management skills - Confidence in challenging processes and escalating issues appropriately - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel - Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders - A proactive and self-motivated approach to work - Awareness of financial regulations and industry developments You should be comfortable working with financial data and systems.
