Payroll Associate

Hayward Hawk is delighted to be recruiting for our professional services client for a Payroll Specialist to join its established Finance team based in Belfast. This role will support the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll services across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure timely processing and resolution of employee queries. What You'll Do: Support the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls Maintain and review employee data to ensure integrity within payroll systems Assist with end-to-end payroll activities including input, validation and reconciliation Provide guidance to employees, managers and HR on payroll-related matters Support the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls Respond to and resolve complex payroll queries, escalating where appropriate Assist with payroll reporting, analysis and ad hoc finance projects What You'll Need: Experience working within a complex inhouse payroll function Understanding of UK PAYE legislation and payroll compliance Experience working alongside outsourced payroll providers Exposure to global mobility or international payroll processes Ability to manage large datasets and perform detailed analysis Ability to build effective working relationships across departments Experience using integrated HR/payroll systems Exposure to multi-country payroll environments What You'll Get: Competitive salary Company Annual Bonus Hybridworking Exposure to complex international payroll environments
