Divisional Operations Director Fixed term contract – 6 to 12 months Band 8D – £91,342 to £105,337 Cornwall A Cornwall NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Divisional Operations Director to provide executive operational leadership across one of its major clinical divisions. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for delivering operational performance, financial sustainability, workforce effectiveness, and service transformation across complex acute hospital services. The Trust serves a population of over 570,000 people across three hospital sites and is delivering an ambitious transformation programme, including major capital investment and service redesign. Key responsibilities include: Leading operational delivery across a major clinical division Delivering performance against access, quality, and financial targets Leading service transformation and operational improvement programmes Managing divisional budgets and financial sustainability Leading senior operational teams and workforce planning Working closely with clinical leaders, executive colleagues, and system partners This role requires an experienced senior operational leader with: Existing Divisional Director experience or equivalent senior NHS operational leadership experience Strong track record of delivering operational performance improvement Experience managing complex healthcare services and budgets Experience delivering transformation and service redesign Ability to work effectively with executive, clinical, and system partners This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical leadership role within a major NHS Trust undergoing significant transformation.
