Registered Manager Location: Croydon Salary: £35 k Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent About the home This home specialises in supporting people with mental health and/ or learning disabilities. They provide 24-hour accommodation and support for 13 residents in a homely environment. A majority of our service users have resided with the home for extended periods of time. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a high-quality care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Foster a positive and engaging environment for both staff and service users. Develop, implement, and monitor personalized care plans. Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of professionals. Maintain excellent relationships with families, stakeholders, and external agencies. Ensure all operational, financial, and quality targets are met consistently. Champion continuous improvement and best practices in care delivery. What You Bring: Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar role within the care sector. A valid registration with the relevant regulatory body. Outstanding leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Role Requirements : Have been a CQC Registered Manager for at least 2 years Experience in managing mental health care home settings Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence based approaches Ability to supervise, teach and mentor unqualified Staff Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent people management skills, including supervision, appraisal and conflict resolution Ability to prioritise workload and delegate appropriately Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
