Base pay range We are working with a fast-scaling, multi-entity AI commerce and technology business operating across the UK, Europe, the US and other global markets. Backed by top-tier investors, the organisation is executing a clear value-creation strategy with a targeted liquidity event planned for 2027–2028. This is a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious CFO who wants to play a central role in building, scaling and ultimately exiting a high-growth international business. The Role This is not a traditional, purely stewardship CFO position. You will act as a true strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, helping shape the operating model, translate strategy into executable plans, and ensure the business scales in a disciplined, investor-grade manner. You will own the full finance agenda across commercial finance, FP&A, governance, investor relations, cash and working capital management, while remaining hands‑on in a lean, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with the CEO on strategic planning, scenario modelling and execution cadence Lead commercial finance to drive revenue growth and margin improvement Own budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting and performance tracking Oversee financial, board and investor reporting Manage cash flow, working capital and FX exposure Maintain strong relationships with investors, advisors and external partners Ensure tax and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions Prepare the business for a successful exit, including equity story development, governance maturity and data‑room readiness The Ideal Candidate Proven CFO or senior finance leader within a PE- or VC-backed business or complex scale-up environment Background in top-tier consulting, transaction advisory or high-growth international organisations strongly preferred Comfortable operating at both board level and in the detail of modelling, cash and operations Strong commercial acumen, strategic judgement and ability to lead through ambiguity Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a degree in a business-related field Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills Job Details Seniority level: Executive Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Finance and Management Industries: Software Development and Technology, Information and Media Why Apply?
