Full Time Year 3/4 Teacher Required Job Type: Full-time Contract: Temporary (April to December 2026 as a minimum) Location: Rural Lancaster Primary Salary: £168.80 to £215.68 per day Join our dedicated team at Lancaster School as a Year 3/4 Teacher. The position starts on 13th April 2026 and runs until December 2026, with the potential for permanency for the right candidate. The school welcomes applications from ECT's and experienced teachers alike. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet curriculum standards. Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for the next stages in their educational journey. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience and uphold the school's standards. Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school's community and ethos. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Years 3 and 4. Experience of mixed age teaching desirable. Strong understanding of the current KS2 curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven use of assessment for learning Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
