Head of Energy & Utilities Location: Uxbridge, London. Full day role based 5 days in the office. Purpose As head of the Energy and Utility Procurement team you will be based at our corporate office in Uxbridge, London. We are looking for a strategic, forward‑thinking professional who will be responsible for overseeing competitive sourcing of power, natural gas, and all utilities across UK and Europe. Key Responsibilities Purchase power, natural gas, water and industrial gases for all sites in UK, Ireland and Europe. Lock in market values at competitive costs; perform market research and pricing forecasts. Review suppliers and sourcing supply. Analyse economic and market data related to UK energy markets. Budget, forecast and monitor site usage rates and costs. Ensure sites have adequate supply to run efficiencies. Develop energy risk management models and tools. Prepare regular reports and market updates for senior management. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Knowledge Team leadership and management skills. Proven analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in statistical software and databases. Knowledge of power, natural gas, fuel and currency markets. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Travel: may be required to travel to other facilities, attend company events, or represent the company; willingness to travel as business needs dictate. 5+ years of experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Finance, Data Science or related field required; MBA preferred.
