PT Renewables a fast‑growing management consultancy delivering sustainability and energy solutions to a global client base. We're supporting their search for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Consultancy Services to lead, develop and scale their consultancy offering. The Role This is a hands‑on senior leadership position, combining strategic oversight with direct client delivery, team leadership and service development. You’ll be the driving force behind the consultancy function – setting direction, building capability and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients. Lead and develop the internal consultancy team delivering services – this includes ESOS, SBTi, LCA, EPDs, TCFD, Carbon Footprinting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3) and sustainability training. Own and implement process improvements across upselling, cross‑selling, service delivery and client communications. Work closely with Marketing to bring consultancy expertise to life through webinars, case studies, thought leadership, articles and industry insights. Set, manage and track team targets, P&L, account retention and growth. Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, providing regular updates on performance, opportunities, success stories and priorities. Foster a strong, positive team culture through regular 1‑to‑1s, coaching and leadership of team leads. Oversee consultancy project workflows to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery. Lead client engagement for consultancy services, converting new opportunities and expanding existing accounts. About You We're looking for a confident, driven leader with a strong consultancy background and a passion for sustainability. This will suit someone with a strategic thinking mindset, commercial awareness, and who enjoys being involved with both clients and delivery. You’ll bring Proven experience leading consultancy teams and complex client engagements. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing KPIs, P&L and account growth. Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks, reporting and regulatory drivers. The ability to inspire, develop and retain high‑performing teams. A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with the confidence to challenge and innovate. Package Salary up to £70,000 – flex for the right candidate Mostly remote role with 1‑2 days based in the Newcastle office Bonus opportunities based on personal, team and business performance.
