The Senior Product Marketing Manager, for SSM and Mobile App will lead the strategic direction, design and rollout of the Sage Sales Management (SSM) and S50 Mobile App propositions that extend our core Sage 50, 100, 200 product franchise (products) within the Small Division for NA, UKIA, France, Central Europe and Iberia.
This role is pivotal in understanding the unique challenges, opportunities, and competitive landscapes of targeted audiences to effectively position Sage's products and solutions in a way that resonates with customer-specific needs and drives market share growth. As a Product Marketing leader, you will define and deliver effective growth strategies, value proposition definition, market segmentation and customer profiling, Pricing/Packaging/Tiering definition, messaging & positioning framework, and set launch strategies with clear objectives and goals aligned with the market opportunity.
You will partner with routes-to-revenue and go-to-market functions for the launch and expansion of SSM (and S50 Mobile App) in the selected Regions ensuring we hit product/market fit, drive adoption and deliver against customer needs and commercial opportunity. On the other hand, you will interlock with our Product Teams to align on the strategic direction and positioning of the new propositions that increase customer adoption, innovation and deliver against our customer promises in these market segment.
Location
Hybrid, 3 days per week out of Newcastle or London office.
Key Responsibilities
What Will I Be Doing?
Youโll play a pivotal role in localising and activating Sageโs product marketing strategy in the UK.
Strategic direction of category: Partner with PM to define the strategic direction of the S50/100/200 category for the next 3-5 years, identifying opportunities to create new propositions aligned with market and regional requirements and commercial priorities.
Define growth strategy for category: Builds a compelling growth strategy that captures the market opportunity and customer needs and turns them into actionable plans to drive revenue and market share growth.
Market expertise and competitive landscape: accountable for deep understanding of markets segments, emerging trends, competitor strategies and products, identifying growth opportunities and turning that insight into clear, executable strategies for the new propositions in S50/100/200 space.
Customer research and insights: accountable for delivering deep customer insights, conducted through qualitative and quantitative research, customer focus groups, interviews and Sales / CS feedback to guide future roadmap and proposition development for S100/200 category.
Defines BU commercial priorities: accountable for working with R2R to understand local commercial opportunities / risks, coupled with customer and market insight, to define a commercial roadmap for new propositions that aligns to strategic direction of the S50/100/200 category.
Pricing and packaging: accountable for the evolution of existing and development of new propositions based on clear customer and market needs. Owns packaging across all regions, partnering with regional stakeholders to define winning solutions.
Value propositions, positioning and messaging: accountable for designing and building winning new value propositions, turning that into market leading, differentiated messaging that lands with our discrete audiences.
What Weโre Looking For
Weโre seeking a strategic, collaborative, and insight-driven marketer who can blend global direction with local expertise.
Experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or a related role, ideally in SaaS or financial software.
A deep understanding of the UK market, with a proven ability to tailor global strategies to local context.
Strong storytelling, communication, and writing skills.
Proficiency in generative AI tools and an understanding of AI/ML concepts.
Demonstrated success developing go-to-market strategies and launching products that deliver results.
A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across global and regional functions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable plans.
A Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Masterโs preferred).
