We’re working with a leading real estate investor and developer to appoint a strategic and commercially minded Asset Manager to oversee a UK-wide portfolio of residential and student assets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, hands-on team with a strong track record and exciting pipeline. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, enhancing asset value, and delivering market-leading property solutions.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for formulating and executing asset management strategies that maximise income, enhance capital value, and optimise tenant experience across a diversified portfolio. This includes oversight of marketing strategy, financial performance, leasing activity, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic positioning of assets to drive rental income and long-term valueManage annual budgets and performance reports covering cashflow, leasing status, and rent collectionOversee day-to-day operations via Property Managers and ensure full regulatory complianceDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, local authorities, and external agentsMonitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain competitivenessIdentify opportunities for asset enhancement, reconfiguration, or repositioningAbout YouDegree qualified in Real Estate or similarMinimum 10 years of asset management experience in student housing or residential sectorsProven background in working with Property Managers or OperatorsStrong financial and commercial acumen with budgeting/reporting experienceIdeally MRICS qualified but not essentialFamiliarity with managing small commercial units is a bonusHands-on, proactive mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skillsSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherWe’re not including unrelated postings or site notices.
