General Practitioner (Fixed-Term Contract) Harrogate 4, 6 or 8 Sessions per Week 1, 2 or 3-Year Fixed-Term Contracts Available We are seeking a motivated and committed General Practitioner to join an established and supportive clinical team on a fixed-term basis. Clinical Responsibilities Providing a full range of general practice consultations: Telephone consultations Face-to-face appointments Accurx triage Urgent and routine appointments Home visits Managing care for both registered and non-registered patients Overseeing and participating in chronic disease management Management & Service Development Contributing to the achievement of QOF targets Participating in weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings Working collaboratively with voluntary agencies and wider healthcare teams Engaging in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives Supporting ongoing service development Teaching & Training Potential involvement in teaching medical students, student nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals Supporting the practice in maintaining GP training status General Responsibilities Attendance at mandatory and role-specific training Participation in regular clinical team meetings Compliance with practice policies, procedures, and employment terms Engagement in Performance and Development Reviews (PDRs) Maintaining high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and health & safety adherence What We Offer Flexible sessional commitment (4–8 sessions per week) Fixed-term contracts of 1, 2, or 3 years with possible extension Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to contribute to teaching and service development Well-established practice in the desirable Harrogate area For further information or to apply, please get in touch directly.
