Agent Engineer

The Role A leading service provider in their market is looking to shape the strategic direction and roadmap of theircore technology platforms. These platforms act as the foundational starting point that enable the delivery of strategic business outcomes. This team ensures that platform services are continuously improved, aligned with business needs, and prioritised effectively. By designing, building and managing these platforms, you will help simplify and enhance the company's technology landscape-making it more efficient, scalable and fit for purpose. What you'll be doing You will design, develop and maintainintelligent agents and bots to improve efficiency and solve problems across the company. Deliver agents developed internally in line with company objectives, policies and standards as well as work as part of a cross functional team tasked withintegrating all agents and bots into production systems and processes. Plan, design and prototype intelligent agents and bots that can reason and act to solve complex problems. Develop autonomous systems powered byLarge Language Models (LLMs) Integrate agents and bots to the tools, data and services needed to operate efficiently. Work with stakeholders focused on AI platforming, software engineering, data governance etc., to ensure solutions are compliant and secure. Become the focal point for all matters related toagent engineering. What you will bring 6+ years IT experience, with at least 3 years experience in developing intelligent agents and bots. Ideally have experience in intelligent agent development with Microsoft Power Platform A strong level of expertise in creating prompts to guide LLMs and ensure desired agent behaviour. Knowledgeable of current IT trends. Proven track record of managing projects and changes, gathering requirements and working with stakeholders.
