Actuarial Director – The Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and progressive pensions professional within our Scotland-based Consulting and Actuarial teams.
Actuarial Director – Key Responsibilities
Strategically managing client relationships – overseeing delivery of work, implementing client advice and agreeing fee structures
Driving business development – assisting business plan development, building a client portfolio and identifying new business opportunities
Managing staff – setting targets for direct reports, being involved in recruitment and retention of staff, and helping with the development of others
Actuarial Director – You
An experienced Actuary with expert knowledge of the UK Actuarial and DB Pensions market
Hold a Scheme Actuary Practising Certificate with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or willing to apply to become one
Strong awareness of the industry landscape, including competitor business and services
Previous people management experience
