Residential Support Worker – Children & Young People (Derbyshire)
£30k – £33k per year (includes an average of two sleep-ins per week)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist provider of residential homes and education settings supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning needs.
The Role
Provide high-quality, nurturing care within a residential setting
Build positive, trusting relationships
Support education, independence and emotional wellbeing
Encourage hobbies, social activities and community involvement (e.g. sports, arts, outings)
Work collaboratively with families and professionals
Contribute to care planning and maintain clear records
Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people at all times
About You
Passionate about supporting young people with additional needs
Calm, resilient and consistent in setting boundaries
Strong communicator and effective team member
Committed to safeguarding, equality and professional growth
Flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins and alternate weekends
Shift Patterns
A mix of early, late and full-day shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays.
