Part of the world's ninth-largest accounting network, we combine global perspective with local expertise, serving clients from large corporates and international groups to owner-managed businesses, non-profits, and pension funds.The TeamYou'll join a close-knit, collaborative team of approximately 18 professionals who provide holistic services across Global Mobility, Employment Tax, and Share Schemes.We work with a diverse client base including high-growth start-ups, established multinationals, and investment funds, helping them navigate the complex landscape of employee reward, mobility, and tax compliance.The RoleWe're looking for a Share Schemes Manager or Senior Manager to play a key role in the team. This is a predominantly advisory position (with some compliance work), offering direct access to partners and the autonomy to manage your own workflow.You will act as a trusted adviser, helping clients implement and manage incentive arrangements that align with their commercial goals.Key Responsibilities:Advisory & Structuring: Designing and implementing share plans (both HMRC tax-advantaged and unapproved) that align with clients' commercial objectivesTechnical Delivery: Managing complex projects including:"Growth share" planningSplit interests and freezer sharesEmployee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)Carried interest and co-investment structures for investment fund clientsTax structuring for fund managersClient Management: Acting as primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing billing, and maintaining strong long-term relationshipsTeam Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues across employment tax and global mobility to deliver joined-up solutionsMentoring: Supervising junior staff, reviewing their work, and supporting their technical developmentQualifications:Degree-level educationMust be from accountancy consulting or legal sector backgroundTechnical Expertise:Experience in share schemes advisory and structuring (EMI, CSOP, SIP, SAYE, and unapproved plans)Experience with some or all of the following:Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)Carried interest and co-investment structuresStrong understanding of the interaction between employment tax, CGT, and NICs as they relate to equity rewardUnderstanding of accounting, employment law, and company law implications of share incentivesCommunication:Excellent ability to translate complex tax legislation into clear, commercial advice for clientsStrong client-facing and relationship management skillsThey OfferAgile Working: Hybrid framework allowing you to work in ways that suit you, your team, and the task at handCareer Development: Clear structure around career progression with access to formal mentoring and coachingCulture: Inclusive, people-centred environment where you can be yourself and achieve your bestDirect Partner Access: Work closely with partners in a collaborative, non-hierarchical team structureAutonomy: Manage your own workflow and build strong client relationshipsVaried Work: Exposure to diverse clients from high-growth start-ups to multinationals and investment fundsCompetitive Package: Salary and benefits that reward your contributionHow to ApplyIf you're a technically strong, commercially minded professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships and working on complex equity structures, we'd love to hear from you.Please send your CV and a brief cover note outlining your relevant experience to [your contact email].Questions?
