Mechanic - Agricultural

They are looking to recruit a practical, hands-on Agricultural Mechanic / Tractor Technician to join their team, responsible for servicing and maintaining their fleet of agricultural machinery. Formal qualifications are not essential, the most important thing is solid, demonstrable experience with tractor servicing and repairs. Applications are welcomed from all levels of experience. The Role Based primarily at the on-site workshop Occasional travel to one of five nearby sites to attend breakdowns and carry out repairs Working as part of a small, supportive team Following service sheets and planned maintenance schedules Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics and repairs Communicating with managers regarding maintenance needs and repair work Experience & Skills Strong working knowledge of agricultural machinery, particularly tractors Experience working with older Massey Ferguson tractors would be an advantage Familiarity xbpsjku with JCB Loadall telehandlers would be beneficial MIG welding experience desirable but not essential Basic computer skills helpful (training can be provided) An agricultural background would be advantageous This is a great opportunity for a reliable and capable mechanic who enjoys a varied, hands-on role within a supportive and well-established family business.
