Electrical Design Engineer

Role- Electrical Design Engineer

Salary- £30,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Type- Permanent

Location- Remote

My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on a Graduate / Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.

The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:

• Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Have knowledge or experience of working with AutoCAD or similar electrical design CAD software
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and design
• Be able to do lighting and load calculations
• Any knowledge of Amtech, Dialux or similar would be ideal too
• Be able to work on a remote basis
• Be keen to learn and develop a range of skills
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

• Working within the existing engineering electrical team
• Working with electrical CAD software like AutoCAD
• Doing lighting and load calculations
• Working on a range of projects
• Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
• Working with electrical schematics
