Responsibilities of the Buyer - Electromechanical role in Stamford, Lincolnshire are: Work closely within multidisciplinary NPD project teams to understand project scope, timelines, and technical requirements. Develop and manage structured procurement plans that support new product introduction and engineering objectives. Apply electromechanical understanding to assess component suitability, lead times, manufacturing methods, and supplier capability. Act as the key liaison between suppliers, engineering, quality, and senior leadership to ensure procurement activities align with project milestones. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for CNC machined parts, PCB assemblies, electrical components, fabricated items, and mechanical assemblies. Monitor supply chain risks and implement strategies to prevent delays, ensuring production and project continuity.
