Job Overview: As a GP at Duality Healthcare, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care on a regular sessional basis. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of medical conditions in a private healthcare setting, ensuring an excellent patient experience. This role offers flexibility and we are keen to fit around your responsibilities as much as possible. We are an EMIS Web / Optum organisation. We are looking for GPs available during the hours of Monday Saturday 7.00 am to 8.00 pm or part thereof. Can you commit to 1-6 sessions/week? Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care & Patient Management Conduct consultations, examinations, and assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions. Provide high-quality medical care, including prescribing, referrals, and follow-up management. Offer private GP services, including health screenings, wellness checks, and travel vaccinations. Support specialist clinics such as womens health, mens health, minor procedures, and occupational health (where applicable). Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with GDPR and clinic policies. Professional Standards & Compliance Adhere to RQIA regulations and GMC professional guidelines. Follow clinical governance policies, including safeguarding, infection control, and data protection. Ensure a patient-focused approach, prioritising safety, confidentiality, and quality care. Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives where necessary. Communication & Teamwork Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth service delivery. Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment plans, and ongoing care. Liaise with external specialists and healthcare providers as required for patient referrals. Contribute to a positive and professional clinic environment. Qualifications and Experience: Full GMC registration with a license to practice Minimum of 2 years' experience as a GP (private sector experience desirable) Strong knowledge of RQIA regulations and clinical governance principles Up-to-date training in safeguarding, infection control, and emergency care Membership of a medical indemnity provider Excellent communication High level of professionalism and commitment to patient care What We Offer: Competitive remuneration package Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.
