They foster a collaborative environment where technical excellence and client service are paramount.This is a significant opportunity for a Corporate Tax Director (Compliance-Focused) to join a key department and play a vital role in the firm's continued success.In this pivotal role, you will:Oversee and manage a substantial portfolio of corporate tax compliance engagements for a diverse range of clients.Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, computations, and related filings, adhering to all statutory deadlines.Lead and review complex corporate tax compliance projects, identifying and resolving technical issues.Act as a primary point of contact for clients on compliance matters, providing clear explanations and building strong, trusted relationships.Liaise proactively with HMRC on behalf of clients, managing enquiries and resolving disputes effectively.Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the corporate tax compliance function, leveraging technology where appropriate.Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of corporate tax professionals, from junior staff to managers, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement.Collaborate closely with partners and other tax specialists to ensure a holistic approach to client service, referring advisory opportunities as they arise.Stay abreast of all relevant UK corporate tax legislation changes and their practical implications for compliance.We are seeking a professional who possesses:CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, with a strong focus on corporate tax.Extensive and demonstrable experience in corporate tax compliance, gained within a reputable accountancy firm (mid-tier or larger preferred).A deep and up-to-date technical understanding of UK corporate tax legislation and its practical application to compliance.Proven experience in managing a large and varied client portfolio, with exceptional organisational skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating staff.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex tax matters clearly to clients and colleagues.A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to contribute to operational excellence.This is an excellent chance to join a stable and growing firm that values its compliance function as a cornerstone of its client offering.
