You’ll lead our operational underwriting team, helping us work smarter and deliver great results. This role exists to drive efficiency, embed compliance, and align underwriting practices with Aviva’s strategic goals. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping our underwriting strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
Leading and developing the operational underwriting team
Driving efficiency and effectiveness in underwriting operations
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align underwriting with business goals
Promoting a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Proven experience leading underwriting or operational teams in a regulated environment
Strong understanding of underwriting strategy, governance, and compliance
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A track record of delivering process improvements and driving change
Ability to inspire, engage and develop high-performing teams
