Associate Director - Outsourced Finance

The firm is experiencing sustained growth, both organically and through acquisition, and is investing strategically in its leadership structure. My client has an excellent opportunity the firm is now seeking to appoint an Associate Director - Accounts & Outsourcing as part of its long-term succession planning strategy. This is a key leadership hire with genuine progression potential. The Role Full leadership and operational control of the outsourcing/accounts function Managing and developing a team of trainees and qualified staff Overseeing delivery of management accounts, statutory accounts and outsourced finance services Ensuring technical compliance and high-quality client output Leading client relationships across a varied and high-quality portfolio Acting as a strategic adviser to clients on commercial and financial matters Supporting acquisition integration and onboarding of new client portfolios Driving efficiency, process improvement and scalable systems within the function Contributing to firm-wide strategy and succession planning Ther Person ACA / ACCA qualified Strong background in accounts preparation and outsourced finance services in practice environment Experience managing and developing teams Commercially aware with the ability to advise clients beyond compliance Comfortable managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients Strong communicator with leadership presence Ambitious and motivated by progression Exposure to acquisition integration or practice growth initiatives would be advantageous.
