Mechanic / HGV Technician

Overview\n We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

\nDuties\n* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and malfunctions. \n* Perform repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other mechanical components. \n* Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks.

\n* Utilise diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance and troubleshoot problems. \n* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. \n* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

\n* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. \nExperience\n* Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential. \n* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment is highly desirable.

\n* Knowledge of automotive systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems is beneficial. \n* Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. \n* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

\n* A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or mechanics would be advantageous but not mandatory.
