As Snap continues to grow, we’re partnering with clients on increasingly complex, strategic data initiatives. From enterprise‑wide transformations to shaping go‑to‑market strategies, our Principal Consultants play a pivotal role in driving both delivery excellence and commercial growth.
We’re looking for a Principal Data Platform Consultant to join our Delivery team. The role requires someone who can lead major programmes, build board‑level relationships, and shape Snap’s strategic direction. It is key to helping our clients unlock long‑term value from their data while mentoring senior team members and contributing to Snap’s evolution.
What you’ll be doing
Lead strategic client engagements, manage large‑scale programmes, and shape Snap’s delivery and capability strategy. Work closely with senior stakeholders, guide internal initiatives, and mentor future leaders.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise‑scale data programmes, ensuring strategic alignment and long‑term impact
Build and maintain board‑level relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation
Shape Snap’s go‑to‑market strategy and contribute to capability development across the organisation
Manage large teams through other managers, ensuring delivery excellence and commercial success
Mentor senior consultants and managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Represent Snap externally through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and industry forums
Success in 3‑6 months
Lead a strategic data transformation programme for a key client
Build a trusted relationship with a senior stakeholder and identify new growth opportunities
Shape an internal initiative that enhances Snap’s delivery capability or training strategy
Coach a senior consultant into a leadership role
Qualifications
Relevant experience aligned with the role’s focus
Extensive experience in data and analytics consulting, with a track record of leading strategic programmes
Deep technical expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Matillion) and data architecture
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with board‑level clients
A commercial mindset and ability to align delivery with business outcomes
A passion for mentoring, innovation, and organisational development
A thoughtful response to any application questions and a resume that highlights what you did and why it mattered
Not a good fit
A purely hands‑on technical role without leadership or client‑facing responsibilities
A role focused on data science or theoretical analytics
