Job Title: Cover Supervisor Area: Blackpool Start Date: March 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Flexible Supply, Temporary Salary: £95.00 - £120.00 per day Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm About the School: We're partnering with a well-established and supportive secondary school in Blackpool that is dedicated to maintaining high standards, strong behaviour systems, and a culture of respect. As a Cover Supervisor you will: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher * Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task * Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies * Provide a calm, focused and respectful learning environment * Support students with their learning and respond to general queries * Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviourWhat We're Looking For: Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential) * Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills * Excellent communication and organisational abilities * A proactive, reliable and professional attitude * A genuine passion for supporting students' development and progressTo be eligible you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service OR be willing to apply for a new one * Provide two professional child-related referencesIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
