Duties The Accounts Technician will play an integral role within the accounts function, you'll be responsible for completing and assisting with... Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns Data analysis, reconciliations and other general accounting tasks Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc) Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks Communicating directly with clients and addressing queries in a professional manner Experience, Skills and Attributes Accounting Technician or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CAI or similar) Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice is desirable but not essential Forward-thinking mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and priorities effectively Good communication skills and a client-focused approach For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ryan Wharry at HireIQ in complete confidence.
