Regional Support Manager - Yorkshire & North East Regions - Salary c£50,000 per annum
North Bay Group Ltd is seeking a proactive and highly organised Regional Support Manager to work across our Yorkshire and North East portfolio of homes.
This is a pivotal role focused on supporting Regional Managers to ensure our homes remain compliant, financially stable, and committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
About the Role
The Regional Support Manager plays a key role in sustaining high-quality services by strengthening governance, monitoring compliance, and supporting operational performance across the region.
You will promote a caring and professional environment that meets residents’ physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs — ensuring their wishes and choices remain central to everything we do.
This role requires flexibility, frequent travel, and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Quality Assurance
Ensure homes remain fully compliant with Care Quality Commission requirements and external regulatory standards
Coordinate action plans following inspections and audits
Monitor safeguarding procedures and compliance
Prevent breaches of the Health and Social Care Act
Investigate complaints and report findings appropriately
Implement and review Local Authority Quality Monitoring requirements
Governance & Clinical Oversight
Audit admissions processes to ensure safety and compliance
Sample audit and review care plans with residents and relevant professionals
Monitor record keeping in line with legislation and regulatory expectations
Analyse regulator reports and embed lessons learned
Operational & Financial Support
Support Regional Managers to maintain high occupancy levels
Monitor KPIs to support financial efficiency across services
Review staffing levels to ensure safe and effective care delivery
Provide operational support in the absence of a Registered Manager
Stakeholder Engagement
Attend Local Authority, Regional Team, and Safeguarding meetings
Provide on-call/weekend support on a rotational basis
About You
We are looking for a flexible and driven care professional who:
Has strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation
Demonstrates excellent auditing and governance skills
Is confident supporting homes through compliance and operational challenges
Communicates effectively with managers, regulators, and stakeholders
Holds a full UK driving licence and is able to travel extensively, including overnight stays
