Base pay range £125,000 - £150,000 + Package with flexibility for an outstanding candidate Overview The CFO Practice is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a high‑growth, technology‑focused B2B SME business based in Birmingham. With current revenues of £10m and a strong customer base developed over the last 10 years, a new CEO has recently been appointed to drive a rapid program of development and improved profitability through organic growth and M&A. The CFO will work alongside the CEO and Executive team to drive the continued commercialisation of the business, developing financial insight, leading inorganic growth initiatives, and building a scalable accounting function that enables the company to continue its development. What you’ll be responsible for: Own and develop the accounting function of the business Manage the budgeting process and work alongside the CEO regarding the Strategic Plan Ensure the annual statutory and monthly management accounts are prepared on a timely basis, and manage the relationship with the external auditors Take the lead on all tax; credit decisioning; funding & company secretarial matters In liaison with the CEO and Executive team, take the lead on identifying and pursuing acquisition opportunities for the business.
