Job Description THE ROLE Following a recent merger, FGE and NexantECA, leading consulting companies specializing in energy markets, are looking for a senior generalist in-house counsel with the experience and confidence to work independently across a wide range of legal issues. This is a full‑time role. You’ll work closely with the COO, CFO, Vice President of People, and senior leadership to shape legal frameworks and manage day‑to‑day needs. Job Requirements Qualifications and Experience ~10 years post‑qualification experience Private practice training in corporate, commercial contracts, employment, IT, or IP Ideally with in‑house experience in a fast‑paced or international environment Comfortable operating solo, offering pragmatic and commercially aware advice Well‑organised, with strong written communication and stakeholder management skills Job Responsibilities Commercial Contracts : Drafting and negotiating client contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, licensing and SaaS contracts. Company Secretarial : Supporting board operations including director changes, resolutions, and statutory filings. Compliance & Governance : Advising on international regulatory frameworks, AML, data privacy, sanctions, and risk management. Employment Law : Advising on employment matters and HR policies across multiple jurisdictions. Intellectual Property : Managing trademarks, copyright, licensing arrangements, and brand protection. Cross‑Border Legal Support : Supporting legal aspects of international business operations and M&A activity. Job Benefits WHY US?
