SpR Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Oxfordshire Temporary or Permanent | Feb Start Negotiable hourly rate I’m working with a Large hospital in Oxfordshire to recruit an SpR in Cardiothoracic Surgery– available as either a fixed-term/locum or substantive post, with a January or February start. If you’re looking for strong operative exposure in a renowned cardiothoracic centre, with supportive consultants and a great training environment, this is a fantastic opportunity. The role Work as an SpR in Cardiothoracic Surgery in a busy tertiary centre in Oxfordshire Mix of elective and emergency cardiac and thoracic surgery (lists, clinics, on-calls) Active involvement in MDTs, ward rounds, pre-op assessment and post-op care Opportunities to contribute to audit, QI, research and teaching About you SpR/ST-level doctor with experience in cardiothoracic surgery Full GMC registration with licence to practise Strong operative skills appropriate to training level and committed to further developing your cardiothoracic portfolio Available to start in January or February (flexible on exact date) What’s on offer Negotiable hourly rate or NHS Salary + on-call enhancements Choice of temporary or permanent contract High-quality operative exposure in a respected Oxford teaching hospital Supportive consultant team and opportunities for subspecialty development and research Interested or want more details?
