Head of Development

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Development Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a new build development programme and aftercare service. This is a senior leadership role with real influence, responsible for ensuring developments are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within approved budgets. Knowledge and Experience Proven track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including performance management, development, and effective stakeholder engagement. Extensive experience in successfully delivering new-build residential development programmes, managing projects from inception through to completion. In-depth knowledge of the key development disciplines, including planning, legal, construction, and procurement processes for mixed-tenure residential schemes. Detailed working knowledge of Homes England funding requirements, systems, and processes, including full audit and compliance responsibilities. Experience in financial appraisal and viability assessment, with practical knowledge of development appraisal software (ProVal experience desirable).
