Interim Group Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Interim Group Accountant to join a reputable organisation based in Oxford. This temporary role is well‑suited for professionals with strong group accounting and finance expertise. Description Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Support the month‑end and year‑end closing processes efficiently and accurately. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the group. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits. Provide support in financial reporting and management accounts preparation. Work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial information. Profile A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. Previous experience in group accounting or financial consolidation. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively. Job Offer Competitive daily rate between £350 and £420 GBP.
