We are recruiting Multiskilled Main Layers to join a respected island energy provider responsible for maintaining and improving the gas distribution network across Guernsey and Jersey. Whats on Offer £45,000 to £50,000 basic salary, flexibility for outstanding candidates Up to £600 per month relocation allowance £2,500 relocation package Private healthcare after 6 months, BUPA cover, option to add family Company support with finding accommodation 3 bedroom houses approximately £2,400 per month Excellent schools and safe communities Outstanding coastal lifestyle with outdoor activities Ferry links to Poole and Portsmouth, around 3 hours This is a rare chance to combine infrastructure work with island living. xbpsjku The Role Working within the Network Operations team, you will carry out hands on work across the gas distribution network. Your responsibilities will include: Mains replacement and new service installations District governor maintenance Gas escape investigation and repair Mains surveying and service disconnections Emergency call out rota, 1 in 4 days Working alongside contractors and liaising with the public This role focuses on the external gas network and infrastructure rather than domestic appliance work What Youll Need Experience working on gas mains and distribution networks Gas Safe registration Strong understanding of gas safety and industry regulations Ability to work independently and within a team Full UK driving licence Take the Next Step If you are ready for a role that offers career security, responsibility and a better quality of life, we would like to hear from you.
