Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Stoke-on-Trent, to carry out deliveries and also multi-drop throughout the Midlands, North Wales and Yorkshire. Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience. Starting hourly rate will be between £14 and £14.50 Benefits: Overtime available. Enhanced rates for nights and overtime. Onsite parking. Referral program. Responsibilities: Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Collection and delivery of goods to the required location and obtaining proof of delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries/collections, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Experience: Class 2 Licence (Cat C) Current CPC and digital driving card Clean Driving Licence and 2 years driving experience preferred Ability to operate a tail lift Competent in using PPT or similar Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. xbpsjku Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
