The Role: This is a pivotal, dual-focus position where you will be instrumental in managing the company's customer accounts and cash flow, while also providing essential support to the sales function. Credit Control & Financial Administration Proactively manage the sales ledger and conductdebt collection/credit controlactivities. Perform credit checks for new customers and efficiently resolve invoice queries to ensure timely payment. Handle all daily till reconciliation, cashing up, securing cash movements, and preparing bank deposits. Customer Services & Sales Support Serve as a key point of contact for customers, handling all day-to-day inquiries professionally. Accurately process all incoming customer orders and provide crucial administrative support to the sales team. The Person: Proven Experience:Demonstrated background in a combined role encompassing credit control, accounts receivable, and customer/sales administration. Numeracy & Accuracy:An exceptional eye for detail, essential for all financial and order processing tasks. Communication Skills:A confident communicator with the ability to handle collection calls and resolve customer queries effectively and professionally. IT Proficiency:Competence in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP software (desirable). Cash Handling:Specific experience with daily cash reconciliation and banking procedures.
