Job Description
We are an independent specialist tax practice advising on complex UK tax matters, including HMRC enquiries, investigations, disclosures and high-level advisory work whilst offering a collaborative, supportive environment where professionals develop deep expertise rather than broad, generalist experience. Our client base is diverse and includes high-net-worth individuals, trusts, family offices, owner‑managed businesses, and large corporate businesses.
About the Role
We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager with strong UK personal tax and offshore trust expertise to join our fully remote team. The role centres on advising non-UK resident trustees on the UK tax implications of offshore trust structures, including residence, domicile, CGT and IHT matters. This is primarily a private client advisory role with exposure to tax enquiries and disclosures where relevant. You will work closely with Directors to deliver high-quality technical advice, manage HNW client and trustee relationships, and support the efficient delivery of complex trust engagements.
Responsibilities
Advise non-UK resident trustees on UK tax issues relating to offshore trusts.
Provide complex technical advice on CGT, IHT, domicile and residence matters, and the use of trust/company structures.
Review trust and estate accounts and oversee annual compliance cycles, including tax returns and computations.
Assist in the management and resolution of HMRC enquiries and investigations.
Act as a primary point of contact for HNW clients, trustees, and executors.
Identify planning opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives.
Contribute to knowledge sharing, technical updates, newsletters, and development of internal precedents.
Required Skills
Substantial experience in UK personal tax and offshore trust taxation.
Comfortable managing HNW client relationships independently.
Strong advisory skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
Commercially aware and proactive in identifying advisory opportunities.
Interested in developing or deepening expertise in tax disputes and investigations (prior experience helpful but not essential).
What We Offer
Fully remote working with flexible hours.
A nurturing, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
Exposure to complex, high-value trust and private client matters.
Competitive remuneration and flexible benefits.
