This is an opportunity to join a growing application engineering team working on production-grade systems at the intersection of software engineering, data, and applied AI. THE ROLE As an Application Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional product team, building and scaling features that are used directly by customers. Develop full stack features across a large, complex platform Work with high-volume, data-heavy systems where performance and scalability matter Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and AI-focused R&D teams Take ownership of features from design through to production and iteration Contribute ideas and improvements rather than working from rigid specifications TECH ENVIRONMENT JavaScript and TypeScript Node. xbpsjku js Modern frontend frameworks (with an ongoing migration to React) PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis AWS, Docker, Kubernetes Java / Python experience is an advantage WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (1st or 2.1 from a good University) Typically 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates Experience building production software, ideally in a full stack environment Strong problem-solving ability and logical thinking For more information on this incredible opportunity, please apply online or reach out to Mike Walton at Avanti for more information.
