Head of School – Autism School – Special School Have you got experience as a Headteacher or are you a Deputy Headteacher looking to take the next step into a Head role? Do you have experience as a senior leader in a specialist setting, particularly autism experience due to needs? ASC Specialist School We are looking for an Head of School for a specialist ASC School in East London. The school caters for students who are unable to access mainstream education due to a diagnosis of autism. The class sizes are very small and focus on the individual needs of students. The school is part of a larger organization offering alternative education to students who are unable to access mainstream education. What We Are Looking For – Headteacher Headteacher or Deputy experience and have or working towards NPQH Experience in SEND settings Experience of teaching with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de‑escalation strategies Experience of quality assurance, budgets and management of large teamsPositive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach Request for interviews are happening immediately* Interested in hearing more about Headteacher / SLT opportunities?
