Head of Financial Reporting

I'm currently recruiting for a Head of Financial Reporting for one of the fastest growing businesses in the North West. You will be responsible for the group’s financial reporting function, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and external reporting in compliance with UK-adopted IFRS and FCA Listing Rules.Key Responsibilities will include:Lead the preparation of the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts, Half-Year Report, and trading updatesManage the consolidation process of financial statements across all Group entitiesOversee preparation of statutory accountsLead the Group audit process, acting as primary contact for external auditorsOversee balance sheet reviews and ensure strong control over key judgements and estimatesPrepare and submit regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts.Support risk management and compliance initiativesLead, develop and mentor the financial reporting teamFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performanceI am looking for candidates with a strong financial reporting background, experience of managing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles to market deadlines with a strong understanding of group consolidation.My client are at such an exciting time meaning you have the opportunity to build your career in an environment where you're empowered to develop deep expertise, take ownership of your impact and think big as part of a fast growing, ambitious business.
